iPod

Well, downloaded and installed Vista onto my Dell 9150. Installation was FAST and easy. First thing I tried using was my 60GB Video iPod. iTunes kept saying someone else eas using it and iTunes could not access it. Tried EVERYTHING.
Come on Microsoft, I would have thought the iPod (since there are BILLIONS of them out there) would have WORKED with Vista.
Maybe if I tried a WMA certified music player I would not have wasted HOURS trying to get this to work.

What does MS have to do with this.
Your sentence should have been:
"Come on Apple, I would have thought...."
It's Apple's job to make it work.

You need to contact Apple about iPod support on Vista since thirdparty applications usually break with new releases of Windows, and Apple is the developer and manufacturer of the software and hardware. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

Disable the firewall and see if that works

If the songs are at the My Music folder, make a new folder at your desktop or somewhere away from My Music folder, and make iTunes read them from that new folder. Try to upload some to your iPod. After that, you can move themback to your My Music folder.

srry I posted 2 times.

If your songs are on the folder My Music, move then to a folder at your desktop or somewhere away from the My Music folder. Make iTunes read the songs from the new folder, and try to upload them to your iPod. After that, you can move them back to your My Music folder.
